Service

Boxing is a fantastic way of getting in shape effectively – incorporating a variety of footwork and padwork drills, as well as skill-based work into your routine, not a second of your boxercise sessions training will be wasted!

Being a qualified Boxercise Instructor, I can get you moving right from our first session – we can focus on boxing-based training only, however based from experience I’d usually recommend including a combination of boxing training with bodyweight / light resistance / cardio training for optimal results. 

The training doesn’t stop in between our 1-1 sessions – all of my clients receive a bespoke-made, virtual training plan accessible on any mobile/desktop device, along with access to a nutrition app enabling you to take full control of your training schedule and dietary habits. 

How Does

It work?

I can deliver your Personal Training sessions in 2 ways:

In Person – the Trainer arrives to the agreed address to conduct sessions. Please note In Person sessions are only available within London, with availability subject to travel distance.

Remotely – Sessions are conducted virtually via the Zoom Meetings platform. You’ll need access to a desktop (preferable) or mobile device if a camera, speaker and microphone, and WiFi.

I’m based in Ealing, London, and I can deliver personal training sessions in the below areas:

Ealing / Hanwell / Northfields / Chiswick / Kew / Acton

We can arrange sessions in following locations:

Nearby Park – I can commute to your nearest park area, so we can conduct the sessions outdoors.

Your Home – I’m happy to travel to your address and use the garden / living room space.

Gym – I can arrange our sessions in one of the gyms I cooperate with, The Gym Clinic based in Chiswick (W4 5PY), however this will include additional costs per  session/block. The facility includes a full-sized boxing ring, and core resistance training equipment.

I’ll advise you on the most suitable payment plan for you during our phone consultation. Currently, I offer a pay-as-you-go option at my standard flat rate, and discounted session blocks. For optimal results, it’s strongly recommended to opt in for a block of session to ensure we work together for at least a few weeks and begin building consistency with your workouts.

All sessions / session blocks purchased are subject to expiry, please see the expiry duration breakdown below:

Individual sessions – expires within 2 weeks from the date of purchase

Gateway To Fitness Pack – expires within 5 weeks from the date of purchase

Blocks of x5 Sessions / Block of x10 Sessions (x2 a week) – expire within 6 weeks from the date of purchase

Blocks of x10 Sessions / Block of x20 Sessions (x2 a week)- expire within 12 weeks from the date of purchase

Why do sessions expire?

In order to achieve visible results, I need you to commit to training with me on a regular basis. Ideally, I want to see each client at least once a week to ensure we maintain minimal consistency and progression. 

Do my sessions carry over if I train x2 a week?

To make use of the promotional pricing on the x2 Sessions a week packages, I need you to commit to x2 regular sessions a week. Any un-used sessions within the week will not carry over, however I am happy to offer doing an extra session for the following week if that is something I can facilitate within my schedule.

What If I want to pause my session block?

All clients need to provide adequate notice if they wish to pause the service – I ask for 14 days’ notice to pause your current block, these can be paused for up to x4 weeks for the duration of any active block.

Options

Find the best payment option for your needs – due to the nature of this service providing most benefits to clients with maintaining regular consistency, investing in larger blocks of sessions is incentivised with a lower fee per session.

Prices for buddy (2-4 persons per training session), or prices for larger blocks of 1-1 sessions can be quoted for individually – please note the pricing will be based on additional workload per session, as well as support required outside of our training sessions. Please note the below prices do not include any rental fees for indoor spaces, shall you want to make use of the gym I work with, Gym Clinic.

FAQ

I arrive to our agreed place of training at the start time of our appointment. I also provide my own equipment for your use, however you’re more than welcome to use your own equipment.

You’ll receive a Zoom invitation each time before our session’s start time. You’ll also receive a first-time user guide if you haven’t used Zoom before, to ensure you know how to operate the software.

None! We can get you sweating without use of any equipment. Please do bear in mind I may need to recommend some items for you to purchase depending on your needs. Ideally, you will have an exercise mat to avoid lying down on bare flooring.  

The minimum recommendation is a 3m x 3m area to give you enough space and avoiding any risk of injury. You’ll also need to set up the device camera so I can see you – ideally in one of the corners of the area you’ll be using.

You’ll receive access to Viirtuagym training software once we begin working together, which will allow you to access your training plan via any desktop/mobile device.

We’ll discuss your nutritional guidance needs during your consultation, however all of my clients will be encouraged to use Virtuagym software to set up a nutritional plan and complete a 1-week nutrition diary. I do not provide full nutritional plans, however can deliver general guidance and provide key tools to get your nutrition up to scratch.

You will need to let me know about any foreseen lateness as soonas possible via text. Depending on my schedule, we may be able to extend your session over the booking time, however I cannot guarantee this. We can also add on the un-used time on the next session to make up, as longas it’s not more than 10/15mins.

I will aim to let you know as soon as possible of any foreseen lateness on my end. I will ensure to make up the missed time either on the current session if our availability allows to do so, or by giving this back in the next session.

I am to book my clients for up to 2 weeks in advance to maximise our consistency with your training. Bookings will be made by speaking with me in person at the end of sessions, and you cana lso get in touch via text for any cancellations or rescheduling. You will receive and email and text confirmation for any booked sessions with Firm Hands.

Not at all – we’ll start off with the basics of footwork and ensuring you’re adept with the 1-8 point punch tehcnique, before diving any deeper into boxeercise-style training. 

You’ll be able to access your Virtuagym account to view your full training plan – you can select individual session to see the full workout (i.e. exercises and instructions, repetiotins, sets, equipment you’ll be using etc).

Your Virtuagym account will include a workout player feature – each session within your training plan can be “played” when pened in the app/desktop Virtuagym platform. 

Yes – any workouts completed on your own can be amended (i.e. updating the resistance used, repetitions completed etc). This allows you to keep your training record fully updated at all times.

During our free consultation, we’ll establish your fitness goals and choose appropriate means of progress measuring. We’ll also determine how often we’ll take your progress measures, all of which will be discussed in full every few weeks.

Yes – each Firm Hands client receives a Client Guidebook designed to give you all the necessary information you’ll need to make the most out of working with me.  I will also provide additional guidance documents when needed.

Yes – being a Firm Hands client grants you 24/7 online support. You will be able to contact me via text/whats-app or email for any queries.

The cancellation policy we both agree to is 24 hours prior to booked time. You will need to notify me via text, and within the outlined minimum time to avoid losing your sessions. We will read through and sign a Trainer – Client contract before starting our first block of sessions which fully outlines all of the Firm Hands T&Cs. 

For optimal results, I strongly recommend booking at least 1/2 regular Personal Training sessions weekly, especially during the first 6-8 weeks of training. The minimum requiremend will be x1 weekly session, since I will not be able to help you achieve results with less time than that.
